how to report my dentist for a bad dental bridge?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

I’m not happy with the 2 dental bridges and one of the crowns that my dentist worked on. There’ a hole under one tooth of the bridge where the titanium (inner lining) is visible. a small line of metal is visible at the gum line. Also she didn’t attach the one bridge to the last back tooth and there’s a space there.
She isn’t willing to replace her bad work. Any comments?

I am sorry you are going through all the pain and trouble. Maybe one of the answers to my question. Will help you with your bridge until you can see another dentist.

First see another dentist and get things done right. Then report the first dentist is the only thing I know to do. When a professional has been reported then the person that reported them. Is put on a list that other professionals in the same line of work know who reported. When they find out someone has reported someone in their profession. They will refuse to see that person for any reason.

what can I do, experiencing dental bridge pain?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

I had a cracked tooth and the dentist replaced it with a dental bridge 5 years ago in my lower right quadrant. However, I have been experiencing pain in my jawline and sometimes when it is cold or at night. I don’t know if I need an adjustment or just have a reaction to metal. What can I do?

sometimes all you need is over the counter pain med. what ever works for you . IF it does not go away these are the symptoms that mean run not walk to the dentist you have an abscess tooth the bridge is anchored in place by your own natural teeth.
1′ swelling
2. unable to chew on that side due to pain
3. pain that can wake you up at night
4 pain that starts throbbing for no reason and does not go away \
5. extreme hot or cold sensitivity that lingers
I would recommend that at your upcoming cleaning you ask for an x-ray be taken to see if it changes in the future

How will my Dental Bridge look like?

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

Hi I got a pre-dental bridge procedure about 6 days ago and i have my temporaries on right now. I was trying to find out though if the dental bridge would look Exactly the same as the teeth that were replaced. The teeth that are being replaced are my front teeth and were crooked. Will the Dental bridge come in crooked as well or would it be straight as if i got braces? Thanks!

A bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth.

Did you have any problem with your dental bridge?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

What kinds of problems did you have?

I have a dental bridge covering 3 teeth area (for chewing). It seems to be sinking. Did you experience such a thing?

My dentist told me (when I had my bridge put in) that it would sink after a while especially if you eat on that side mostly, exposing a line of the metal on the sides of the gum, it’s nothing to be worried about. The problem I’m having with my bridge is bleeding when I floss under it (I hate how hard it is to take care of a bridge) and the bleeding suddenly started, because the past few weeks when I flossed under it it was fine! Wonder what happened! :\
