Can free dental clinics offer veneers or caps if they are absolutely needed?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

No never. They are not considered a necessity.
Veneers are fake tooth coverings to make them look pretty. They cost about 700 dollars PER TOOTH.

Clinics will not give you those and clinics for the poor dont even have veneers in their offices.

Free Dental Clinics For Illegal Immigrants?

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

Ar there any free dental clinics in Southern California that serve illegal immigrants or that provide are with a very low downpayment (around 100 dollars)?. Need information urgently. Thank you so much

I used to be a student at these clinics and I know we had a lot of people there who didn’t speak any english. I never asked any of my patients if they were illegal because it wasn’t any of my business. I just gave them the best dental care I could. I’m not sure how they paid for treatment, but I would look into one of these:

1) H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Care; 2829 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90007
2) H. Humphrey Clinic; 5850 S. Main St., Los Angeles, CA
3) Edward R. Roybal Comprehensive Health Care; 245 S. Fetterly Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90022

Or you could try UCLA or USC. They might take you for a low fee. Good luck. Hope you get taken care of.

State’s dental care program helps some, not all

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

one of those people is anthony elbrecht. he didn’t call us — we found him, after he posted a desperate plea for dental care on craigslist. he the state told him was ineligible for dental care — because he’s a single man without kids. we went straight to officials … and heard the same thing. anthony elbrecht is epileptic and started taking medication that causes gum problems, which he says caused major problems on six of his teeth.

Are there any income based dental clinics?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I live in Hutchinson, KS, about 40 miles from Wichita, & am in desperate need of a dentist! Unfortunately I don’t have insurance & I don’t have the money to pay for an exam. My teeth are literally falling apart! I’m afraid that if I don’t see a dentist soon I’m going to loose them all! I’m only 29.

You might also check around Wichita and see if there are any Dental colleges there. These offer really cheap exams and treatments.
