how to report my dentist for a bad dental bridge?
I’m not happy with the 2 dental bridges and one of the crowns that my dentist worked on. There’ a hole under one tooth of the bridge where the titanium (inner lining) is visible. a small line of metal is visible at the gum line. Also she didn’t attach the one bridge to the last back tooth and there’s a space there.
She isn’t willing to replace her bad work. Any comments?
I am sorry you are going through all the pain and trouble. Maybe one of the answers to my question. Will help you with your bridge until you can see another dentist.
First see another dentist and get things done right. Then report the first dentist is the only thing I know to do. When a professional has been reported then the person that reported them. Is put on a list that other professionals in the same line of work know who reported. When they find out someone has reported someone in their profession. They will refuse to see that person for any reason.

First ask for a copy of your chart…patient rights. Then get a consult with another dentist so you will have documentation that the first dentist did not correct the problem she caused. Make sure to be upfront with the second dentist about what has happened so far. This new dentist could be such a huge help to you in directing you as to how to manage this problem. And yes you should report her to the American Dental Association peer review board.
My husband is a dentist and he just hates the fact that some of the people in his profession try to get away with stuff like this. Best of luck to you.

Hello..Ok, If possible you get an evaluation form another Dentist…When you see that dentist you do not tell him or her the work is new…but you do get his or her evaluation in writing…Then you file a complaint with the State Dental Peer Review Board, which is part of the State Dental Board. You send them your explanation of what you see wrong and you include the evaluation from the second Dentist. If this doesn’t get the issue resolved to your satisfaction, you get a lawyer and sue for mal-practice and poor workmanship, plus all attorney fees….Good luck and I wish you well.

You can report her to the better business bureau or try ripoffreport. Best to go anonymous when doing that.
Talk to her about it.
Request your chart, it’s a right to request your chart.

If the one with the hole is in the back and you don’t have a lot of room it is possible that there isn’t enough room for porcelain and it would have to only have the titanium on the biting surface, although the dentist should have told you this once she found out about it. Most crowns, do have a strip of metal at the bottom unless they are full porcelain crowns, and there shouldn’t be a large space in between the crown.
I would get a consult from another dentist just to see what he sees and if he agrees that the treatment wasn’t done properly.
