What happens to my dental and eye care?
if Obamacare passes. People on Medicaid only get eye and dental until the age of 21 I think, so we know the feds don’t consider eye and dental care necessary for adults.
I have a job, thank you. Two of them, in fact and I pay for my own insurance, including dental and eye care.
And the best part?
You will have no where else to go… no insurance company or policy you can switch to…

uhm… whatever happens under this bill it will improve your situation, not make it worse…I think the bill extends the age a dependent can stay on their parents policy is until 26.

If you have Medicaid and you are over 21, you cannot get any dental care NOW. That is because the individual states do not pay for it. Since the Bush administration, states got less funding for social programs. Medicaid is for adults as well as children and does include eye care. If you were getting Medicaid because of your family being on Medicaid, after age 21, you are on your own. If your job has no insurance you can go to county or community health clinics and pay according to your income.
