Does anyone know of a dental clinic in Houston (or surrounding area) that does work on a sliding scale?

My husband needs 16 teeth pulled, and dentures made. They are definitely unsavable. He has a PPO that will cover $1000, and we have saved another $1000. He is in constant pain, but still works every day, and never complains. Anybody have any ideas?

Look for a dental school in your area, they tend to be more reasonable, I live in Florida and my friend just had her 18 top teeth pulled and a top plate made for less than 500 she had it done at the UF dental school.. Also you may want to call your local hospital or health department. Some times they have listing of some places.
