    @jonny615 it shouldnt if the dentist gives you enough anaesthetic!! they should give you more if you feel it! well thats what happened to me. i didnt have any pain!

    Had one done yesterday. Only a little sore after.
    I’ve had two in the past with no soreness after. And it doesn’t hurt during. If it does, you’re not numb enough.

    Also took about 45 minutes for mine yesterday.

    Had 3 root canals and crowns done in last 4 months, all procedures were pain free, My dentist however did not use the rubber dam, and no hand files, sort of like a drill with a different attachment.

    Just had 2 root canals today. The procedure wasn’t bad but I am pretty sore now. Taking 800mg of Motrin.

    @aznxscar when i had mine it didn’t hurt during the procedure. What hurt was after when the novacaine stopped working and i felt the swelling from where i was injected with the shot. But the pain for me lasted only 2 days

  11. i got 2 root canals …
    i got 2 root canals done today… i didnt feel any pain at all..not even after the anesthesia wore off… it took roughly around 1-2 hours max.. my dentist is amazing… i didnt even know it was done… you can just feel the drilling and everything but its painless… i have low pain tolerance too.. so yeah but i still think it varies though
