ubuibiok, did you happen to catch the Congressional hearings after the 2008 contamination of Baxter’s Heparin in their China facility? At the hearing, it was uncovered that 714 Chinese facilities that make drugs for the U.S. market had not been inspected in the previous 5 years. Baxter’s supplier in China, Scientific Protein Labs, where the raw heparin was processed (from pig guts), was never inspected by the FDA.

FDA is rife with corrupt former pharmaceutical whores.

@CDLver…no I never viewed that hearing, I knew about some of the BS at the FDA, but that was a new one.

Even if a Mandate is ordered on all product imported to America by inspection by the FDA…tha Administration still fails to protect American Consumer Safety…

Managment at the FDA is by Presidental Appointment by the way…
