How much would you expect to pay for private dental treatment?

Does £600 for a ceramic inlay sound about right? The price includes polishing xrays and check ups etc?

600 quid for an inlay sounds about the going rate. I paid 700 for a double root canal and was quoted another 900 for the crown needed afterwards. I finally got the crown done in Spain for about 300. Dentists in Marbella advertise that from the UK you can save more than the air fare by getting treatment with them. They would have been cheaper than London but I found cheaper still and a very sensitive dentist to do the work.

  1. Yes

It cost me a little over £1000 for a wisdom tooth extraction with BUPA

I thought our dental insurance was costing us dear (we have no NHS dentists within 12 miles of where we live) but at £1000 for an extraction and £600 for a ceramic inlay I’m beginning to think that "Denplan" is a good deal after all. With all preliminary treatment including canal work on a molar, X-rays and crowning, it cost me under £80. I went into our dentist with a broken tooth last week and he didn’t charge me anything to repair it
