Rabbi Michael Broyde
Michael Broyde was ordained Yoreh-Yoreh Yadin-Yadin at Yeshiva University and is an associate professor of Law at Emory University, the Academic Director of its Law and Religion Program. Additionally, he serves as rabbi of the Young Israel of Toco Hills (http://www.yith.org) and as a dayan at the Beit Din of America (http://www.bethdin.org). A prolific and substantive author of tremendous scope, he has published more than 60 articles in various aspects of Jewish law and is the author of several books, including “The Pursuit of Justice and Jewish Law”, “Human Rights and Judaism”, and “Marriage, Divorce and the Abandoned Wife in Jewish Law: A Conceptual Understanding of the Agunah Problems in America.”
